About the Role

Maghera Developments are seeking a Project Co-Ordinator to support our Modular Operations team.

 

Your new role:

You will be joining a respected construction firm with a strong presence across Northern Ireland, known for delivering high-quality projects in the Modular Construction Sector. Based in Co. Down, the company continues to expand, offering excellent opportunities for ambitious professionals to gain hands-on experience and develop their expertise in a fast-paced environment.

 

As a project co-ordinator, you will primarily focus on coordinating and delivering modular schemes for the Education Authority, ensuring projects are streamlined, compliant, and delivered efficiently from design to handover.  

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Co-ordinating Education Authority Modular Schemes, ensuring all project phases align with EA specifications, timelines, and compliance standards.

  • Monitoring lead-in times and delivery schedules for modular units and critical site materials to meet strict school term deadlines.

  • Assisting with project management, including document control, tracking site progress reports, and managing health and safety files.

  • Supporting procurement and scheduling processes, ensuring subcontractors and resources are aligned with project milestones.

  • Liaising with stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives from the Education Authority under the guidance of the Project Manager.

  • Co-ordinating onsite and offsite works to ensure smooth integration of modular builds.

  • Contributing to project meetings and tracking action points to ensure momentum.

Requirements

What you will need to succeed:

  • Some industry experience, ideally within NI construction, project administration, or modular builds, though a strong proactive attitude is highly valued.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, essential for managing relationships with school representatives and EA stakeholders.

  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and navigate the fast-paced nature of modular programming.

  • Competence in Microsoft Office and an interest in developing knowledge of project management and construction planning software.
